Welcome to the Team: Abdul Hadi Chibli
Active Needle Technology Ltd. is thrilled to welcome Abdul Hadi Chibli as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Hadi has a background in Mechatronics Engineering. His final year MEng project focused on mathematical modelling and simulation of a robotic worm. Hadi holds a PhD in Ultrasound Devices for medical applications from the University of Glasgow. His PhD was funded by EPSRC as part of the Future Ultrasonic Engineering CDT programme.
During his PhD, Hadi has developed expertise in the field of ultrasonic surgical instruments for robotic-assisted surgery, with a focus on medical ultrasound devices and piezoelectric material. Hadi is a member of IEEE association and an associate member of IMechE, with intentions to apply for chartership status in the future.
