Active Needle Supports STEM Education and Careers
Active Needle Technology Ltd is proud to be hosting a Year 12 student from Banbury for a research placement under STEM Learning's Research Placements and Experiences programme, organised by The STEM Hub and STEM Learning.
The student has been assigned a two-week long placement to work on Active Needle’s drug delivery project. Working alongside ANT’s staff, the student is carrying out research into various cancer treatment drugs currently being used for research and treatment purposes. The aim of this work is to identify appropriate drug analogues, enabling the evaluation of ANT's innovative drug delivery system for its compatibility with a diverse array of drugs.
In addition to acquiring essential research skills, the placement is assisting the student in developing important transferable skills, such as networking, communication, and presentation skills.
